Not too bad. The end is so cheesy, I'm not sure I want to listen to the next one...

I'm still into the story though I'm beginning to tire of Geminis weakness and lack of leadership ability. He stumbles around as if he's not a chart leading gamer. Semi spoiler!: he gives something away that is inherently a player item/mechanic to one of the NPCs that makes no sense to me at all. Idk. The last chapter just really makes me wonder what the author was thinking. Going to continue to the next book in hopes the author turns the story around and gets the main character moving. I don't mind a main character being near average but I don't enjoy reading about a weak main character who pawns all of his responsibilities and game mechanics off on his NPC companions.

So far I have listened to/read around 20 different LITRPG series, this is probably the best ones yet, some of the little things erk me like "health damage, health minus xx", is kind of like saying ATM machine, it's redundant. Other than that, this narrator is awesome. He reminds me of the guy that does the voice for Archer and Bob from bobs burgers....I could listen to him all day every day, I love that voice.

Even less story progression than book 2.
Likely not going to scan book four notwithstanding it's on KU. The rate is simply too dumb. The fight scenes are terribly repetitive. and also the supporting characters lack definition.
To not mention that when three books we have a tendency to are solely ten days into this story. foiled with this book.
Series began right however became more and more worse. The interactions are forced and don't flow well. plot was very oversimplified and uninspired.
Laborious pass at this point. MC acts stupidly most of the time as a non gamer.
