What our readers think
Readers find this title to have a cute idea, but the execution is boring. The narrator's tone of voice makes the epic battle scenes sound flat. However, the book surprised and surpassed expectations for some readers. The only issue was the difficulty in distinguishing between the three Guardians' voices. The story is a bit scattered and the bars are not great, but there is potential for redemption in the next book.

Cute idea but execution is so boring. Could be because the narrator reads everything in the same tone of voice, making the supposedly epic battle scenes sound flat and meh.1 person found this helpful

This book actually surprised and surpassed my expectations. It was good, the only thing that bothered me was that "you couldn't tell who was speaking out of three of her Guardians cuz they all sounded like" - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

The story is all over the place any the bars at or absolutely sucks in this book. However it has some potential so I’m going to try the next one and see if there’s some redemption.
