About this audiobook

He was dark and handsome. Charming, older, and rich.

She was the young and pretty girl, infatuated with a suave man who didn't exist.

After leaving home and burning her bridges, Shelby Ann was cocooned in the gloss of high society— the devil in a suit at her side. But beyond acquiring the skill and poise to pull off being a trophy wife, she would discover that all was not as it seemed.

With the honeymoon over, the dirt and grime seeped through the loving facade to reveal the monsters that laid beneath. Dark and depraved, this series will twist in ways you won't see coming, revealing an anti-hero in disguise, dirty deeds in plain sight, and shocking secrets that will leave you cringing inside.

Mature audiences only. RH as the series progresses. This novel is pitch black and extra spicy, check the frontmatter for a full list of possible TW as they are many.

Please read the TWs. This book is PITCH BLACK (using AA Dark as a reference). Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite books. I read the book and now I’ve listened to the audiobook. I can’t wait for Emma Cole to release the next book. It was supposed to be released in 2022, however, I would imagine writing such dark material is emotionally taxing. Even if it’s never published, we appreciate you Emma.

I really wanted to be at to listen to this. The female narrators accent is horrible. I DNF after chapter 3, just couldn't hang.
