A standard contemporary romance, but a setting in Southern California I relate to deeply. Parker Sinclair, a 24 year old, is raising her two younger siblings after their parents death. The family home in Santa Clarita survives a forest fire, but the real challenge is preventing its destruction in the floods that follow. Of course there is a dedicated, tall dark and handsome county employee who helps out!
