The story is good and the female narrator is good, but the male narrator makes me cringe!! He had two main problems…

1) The main male character is from a high class, cultured, rich family. However, the male narrator sounds like a redneck bumpkin from a trailer park!! He doesn’t sound at all cultured or like his description.

2)The other problem is when the male narrator speaks for a female character. He makes every female character sound like a drunk 4-year-old. It’s especially creepy when a female character says something sexy. Ugh!!

It’s really too bad because it’s a good story and I love Christmas books. I finished listening to it but I just can’t add it to my Christmas list.
