This is book is so cute, I can’t even! The first 3-4 chapters sets up the second half, so don’t get discouraged. MCs are lovely, the side characters are amazing, it’s fun and has a small mystery spicing things up. I just wish the author could expand this world a bit more, the small town is quirky and cute.
Nick’s narration is fabulous, as usual. ♥️

Pure sweet feel-good fluff. I liked that the story takes time to showcase Maksim's life before he goes into witness protection. But it does feel like you're taken from one kind of story to another right in the middle. There were a few quirky very likable side characters in both halves. But the book length didn't leave much room for the romance and it suffers for it. Still, I liked Gale. He was very normal and felt like exactly what Maxim needed.
Overall best enjoyed without too much thinking.
