I enjoyed this quick read today. The dual POVs were a really great way to keep the reader on their toes as the story developed. You never quite felt settled

It's a story of two women fighting over an old story of the town witch. Neither of the women are likable characters. And you find out right off the bat that one of them is dead from the very beginning so the entire story is just a flashback to fill in the details of how she died. It's incredibly boring. And the two women are played off like opposites of each other, but their differences are pretty surface level so it's difficult to understand whose point of view is who. This was definitely a DNF (did not finish) And I don't think I'll ever be tempted to go back to it.

I loved the writing, but I hated the story. I couldn't enjoy listening to a story about two middle aged women acting like children.
