It’s ok; bit disappointing. I wouldn’t say it’s a modern rosemary’s baby per say, but there were some similarities. It got old how many times Dex said “Anna” condescendingly.

I listened to this whole book and was bored to tears. I think the premise is good but the execution was poor, boring and repetitive. The narrator didn’t help either, I couldn’t vibe with her and i it made the listening experience all the less enjoyable.

Excellent book! Well written and full of surprises. I was already watching the AHS remake when I accidentally stumbled upon it. And it has one of my favorite narrators. I definitely recommend this to every woman who loves horror and suspense.

Loved this book! Just the right amount of creepy. It kept my interest throughout. The ending was not what I was expecting.

This was a tense, atmospheric, sometimes claustrophobic read and it really did not pan out like I was expecting, but in a good way! The elements of pregnancy and childbirth along with the occult really kept you engaged and I like how the ending was vague enough to keep you guessing a bit, but also wrapping things up quite nicely.

Great book with a jaw dropping ending. Emotionally charged and engaging. I truly enjoyed it.

So this is the same story line as the newest season of American Horror Story?

3.5 rounded up to 4. I appreciate the commentary on the deficiency of women's healthcare and the discussions illustrating how women are often valued only for their ability to be vessels for childbearing.

She eats a cat. A CAT. One of the worst books I've ever read and one of the worst main characters. She toxic dumps on a friend going through chemo. She also compares going through IVF to having cancer and going through chemo. I didn't finish this train wreck.
