But working with Paige on the story is a battle between Lara's loyalty to her community and a reminder of the suffocating small-town mentality she grew up with.

It doesn't help that Paige is her ex, completely maddening, and can't see eye to eye with Lara on anything. How could this possibly end well?

I was given this ARC by the publisher in exchange for an Honest Review.Lara has a business making cat's sweaters and it's doing very well. But, then she has one bad interview, very, very bad interview, and now everything is a bit rocky. Also, because she's come home because her grandmother is sick, she thinks that no one except her few friends even like her in her hometown.Paige is the chief editor of the local power, the Daily Page, and Lara's ex (who may just still like Lara). They have a rocky reunion.Then there's Kerry, she and Lara get close as well, which gave the story some depth, and meant that we weren't sure, who is going to win Lara's heart, Paige again, or Kerry?The ending was a little bit, whelp-- boom, and it was done.On the other hand, I will say that the middle did keep me guessing and that was enjoyable.
