Conspiracy theories

A woman is trapped in the dark side of true crime

What I was expecting from this book was a crime thriller as it has all the elements.

A missing girl whose case remains unsolved. A grieving sister who tries to follow the clues and find out what happened. There are twists, suspense and the threat of danger. I was several chapters in before realising that, rather than a thriller, is a deep-dive into the head of someone who is coming apart. More important than the mystery are the characters, in particular the story’s narrator Teddy Angstrom.
