Wow I loved this a lot! The narrator did a wonderful job. It hit a lot of my buttons. Sister feelings!! Werewolves!! Complicated relationships!! Pack feelings!! Queer lady love!! I can’t wait to listen to the next one in the series!

Exciting story line. Can't wait to read book two, and the sex scenes were not over done. Maybe could have had some more.

This book was essentially one long tease. While it had a few beautifully erotic moments, they were few and far between. They also did not last nearly long enough. The story line was decent, although there were several aspects of the plot that felt too forced, without enough back-story or revelations to support them. Perhaps more explanation will be given in the sequel? The reader has a mostly sultry voice, but there are some characters for whom her choice of voice made me cringe. I can understand that one person may only have so much range when it comes to voicing multiple characters, but the nasally, raspy tone the reader applies to come of her characters made them sound very unappealing, particularly during scenes that were meant to be erotic. There are even times when Ruri sounds so sullen and pouty, that it really diminishes the strength of her character.
