The story had potential but it felt like it just dragged on too long. Also in the end, Liam’s character has gotten a bit too cheesy…too perfect almost with his words and intentions for Tessa. Loved the narrators though.

This book was great because you had two people running from different things and figuring out that instead of running away from your problems and being alone, trusting someone and overcoming it together is better.

Another great read!! Catherine is such a talented writer that everyone needs to read. I bought the books in this series because of the beautiful covers and I’m glad I did. Great Romance suspense novel and narration was great too! Tessa is on the run from an abusive relationship who is a very influential person. She comes to Sutter Lake because of her mother. Liam is a musician that has writers block and also is hiding from a mentally unstable fan. Liam is the first man whom she lets in. Tessa is such a strong heroine. My heart goes out to all those like Tessa’s character who are special beautiful people that have evil people in their lives that hurt them instead of loving and cherishing them. Glad Tessa found what she truly deserves in Liam.
