    3/5
I admit I'm not sure what to think of this book and thus, rating it was quite a dilemma. I would give it a 3.5 actually.

Bikers, billionaire and mafia tropes aren't really my genre but this novel drew me in despite the fact that the main character is a biker and part of such a club.

The author dared to broach a very difficult subject: human trafficking and even worse, pedophilia. Fact is, the heroes of this series were all victims of such horrific crimes. Thank goodness the author didn't describe such despicable acts. Nevertheless, what is mentioned already made my skin crawl and despair of how some people can gratuitously hurt others without thought nor remorse, especially those most vulnerable and who should be cared for and protected.

What made this novel really interesting is that it posed the age old question of redemption. Can someone who went through such horrors, still function "normally"?

As to the romance between the main characters, forgive me but I found it almost cliche. Still, to each their own eh?

When I started reading this book, I hadn't realized it was part of a series. I won't read the whole series but I might read one or two more books from i t.
