- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The story was interesting, especially the Houston setting. The reader has a monotonous tone when in narration mode, only coming to life when speaking in dialogue. Also she doesn't know how to pronounce Pearland. A few more native Houston accents would have been more authentic for the characters who were natives - for that matter, Texas accents for the native Texans would serve well.
