- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If you are interested in memory improvement, this book is foundational and possibly the only memory book you will need. Harry lays the basics for mnemonics, pegs, and other basic aspects of memorization techniques. Reread value is incredibly high, as this book is intended for memory mastery. It has a conversational aspect which makes it easy to read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Part of the beginning of the book was about memorizing a list. I did the exercise and memorized the list and now two weeks later I can still recall that list! I was so excited to get the book. It may be old but that does not mean it is not relevant. Quick service. Book as described. ?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was exactly what I was looking for, it’s great for many age groups but especially aging adults. Bought this for a gift, my mom loved it and asking for another one
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A relative had a stroke and has difficulty communicating. I purchased these books for him and our Speech Therapist says many of the activities are great for helping with cognition and processing of information
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What an excellent book. Very motivational and educational, in this book you'll find all kind of tips you would never imagine to improve your memory, I'm 100% sure this master piece will help you, but it is your choice to put them in practice. No wonder is a best seller. Definitely recommended for those who are always struggling to remember basic things including me.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Being someone who prides himself on being extremely knowledgeable I found this book to be effective. Much of the content is something I was already aware of but the presentation of the information was ideal. I highly recommend this book. Took me under 2 hours to read and it was definitely worth the time investment in my busy life
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Well organized and an excellent book to help with your memory. I haven't applied the techniques taught in this book to my life yet but plan to give them a try. For the price this is an absolute gem! Recommended!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is life-changing! I am so inspired and, frankly, relieved at Jim's work...I was beginning to think that I was experiencing cognitive decline until I started using Jim's strategies and tools. I have now bought several copies and sent them out to all of the people I know who can benefit from these tools.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book outlines and then teaches you different ways to improve your memory. It is a wonderful way to learn how to improve on what you hear every day, peoples names, where they work, what they do, etc. There are several different ways to learn these skills and the book goes into many of them
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Narration is average. Probably hard to do considering the content.
I got through about 4 and a half chapters. Book consists almost entirely of listing mental/emotional conditions.
I question each of the reviews below.
