About this audiobook

Taken from Earth and used like a lab rat…

Emily was a normal law student until she was abducted by aliens. Forced to perform death defying feats by night and undergoing medical tests by day, she doesn't know how much longer she can take it. When one alien takes particular interest in her she's afraid things have gone from bad to worse. He's got wings and fangs, and he makes her heart pound. But she can't want an alien like that… can she?

He doesn't have time to rescue a human…

Oz is on Kilrym for a reason, and it's not to rescue the ethereal performer who captivates him by night. But covert ops are impossible when his mind is on the human who could be his fated mate. War is on the horizon, but what if the only way to save his people is to sacrifice Emily?

Despite the fact that they were born light years apart, they are a perfect match. But Oz is keeping secrets, and when Emily finds out the truth she may never be able to forgive him, no matter how much she needs him to survive and escape the planet alive.

L’histoire est originale et les personnages sont des battants. Le lecteur est excellent également.
    Je recommande ce livre.

Well written and believable. There's insta-attraction but it's not over the top. I liked that Emily was an educated and capable woman and her guy had to trust in that.

So I'm just gonna put this out there… the narrator was terrible for this book. Since the book is dual POV, AND a slow starter, the narrator's tone of voice was very monotone and boring. He didn't change his voice for the characters, not even the females. It was so flat that I found it hard to pay attention to the very beginning of the book. I had to start over a couple of times and I HATE doing that because it's a waste of time. As for the book itself; it's ok .. nothing fantastic. I honestly liked the different description of alien and and their powers worked especially when matched. Once the story got started it was a little more interesting, only because there were some answers that the author that tripping over herself to keep to a secret until the end but they were really easy to figure out. I DID enjoy that matching with the aliens allowed the humans to gain powers as well and made them stronger. That was a cool concept. I wasn't to continue this series so hopefully either the narrator will change or the story will flow better.
