Almost put it down, story of a pair of gamblers who are looking for a list of people paid by the french during a war with the english, including people who will lose everything if this comes out, she wants to blackmail, he wants to save his family. I just didn't care for the characters enough to make it truly enjoyable, to me it felt like the author wrote herself into a corner several times and I just didn't care. I'm also convinced that I've read very similar before.
