This is a historical romance set in London 1816. The main characters are Annie Andrews and Jordon Holloway, Lord Ashbourne. Lord Ashbourne is asked to watch over Annie while her sister is away on her honeymoon. Annie continues to be handful throwing herself at Arthur Eggleston and trying to elope to Gretna Green. Lord Ashbourne takes her to his country home to keep her out of trouble. They of course fall in love. It was a page-turner toward the end. It was steamy at times. Some vocabulary included that I was somewhat unfamilar with included tryst, chit, ton, rake (hell), deuced. I enjoyed it. This book was "won" through Shelf Awareness Author Buzz; I was provided a free autographed copy.
