About this series

Owen Parish and Veronica Diaz have always seemed to do things backward: living together before they began dating, dealing with an annulment before they were even engaged, breaking the law to win the approval of family. But life has always had a way or working out. Until now.

When it comes to light that Owen not only inherited a house from Minnie but also a debt that came along with it, he and Vee are lost as to how save the one thing that’s been a constant through all of their ups and downs: their home.

The Scooby Gang seems to feel that every problem has a solution, and that there’s nothing they can’t overcome as long as they work together. But this may be one time when the power of snark and friendship can’t help them get what they need.

Find out what happens when a group of misfits comes together in the name of love and laughs in this final installment of The Love Game series.

Who is this guy? Sophia Mason’s junior year of college isn’t exactly off to the best start. The semester has just begun, and the president of her sorority has already ousted her from the house. With nowhere else to turn, she ends up at her brother’s apartment—only to find it inhabited instead by a handsome stranger. On paper, Drew Nolan doesn’t have much going for him as an uneducated bartender from a sketchy family. But when a spoiled rich kid asks Drew to take over his life so he can travel around Europe instead of attend classes, Drew sees the opportunity to get the college education he’s always dreamed of. Forced into a cover-up under the same roof, Sophia and Drew forge an unlikely friendship. As the two grow closer, lines blur and boundaries stretch, and they find comfort in living the lie they’ve adopted. But reality comes knocking all too soon, and Sophia and Drew will have to weigh what’s worth fighting for and what should never ever have been.

With her best friend, Sophia, and the rest of their little gang by her side, she’s confident she can shake off the problems that haunted her last semester and move forward. The only thing standing in her way of total happiness is an inconvenient new crush. Ransom Holt has had to work hard for everything he has. With enough family drama to inspire a soap opera, he’s thankful to have met new friends he can count on. Now if he could only convince Taylor she can count on him back, life would be perfect. As they travel up and down the East Coast, Taylor and Ransom’s relationship will be put to the test. Unfortunately, it’s not the only relationship they have to worry about. From a reunion with Ransom’s dysfunctional biological family to an attempt at finally putting the Brad drama to rest, Taylor and Ransom need to find out how they got to this point—and where they’ll go from here.

The fun and games continue… Taylor and Ransom have been through a lot together—a back-alley beatdown, a fiasco of a family reunion, the wrong funeral…most of the states on the East Coast. They didn’t think there was much more they’d need to overcome, but life has a funny way of throwing obstacles at them. Taylor’s past won’t let her go at the same time Ransom’s past turns to him for help, and a collision course is inevitable. But it’s time to deal with everything once and for all. They’ll need to decide what they’re willing to sacrifice, what they can live with, and, ultimately, what they hold dearest. When the dust finally settles, will Ransom and Taylor have reached the bitter end, or can they build off this rocky foundation toward a future together?

Veronica Diaz is back in town for law school, and when she helps Owen in exchange for a place to live, she feels like her life is on the right track. She’s driven and passionate and ready for anything life throws at her. Right? When Owen and Veronica uncover a secret about their house’s former owner, they set off on a path that will teach them that the past never stays buried and that choices can never be undone. Owen Parrish had no idea it was possible for his life to go off the rails so quickly. One second he was dating the girl of his dreams, and the next he was married to her cousin. There had to be a way to fix things, right? Veronica Diaz wasn’t sure who she was most mad at—Owen, her cousin Natalia, or herself. When the road to solve the unexpected issue with Owen and Natalia forces Vee to live with both of them, she’s sure she’s living a nightmare. And if she wants things to get better, she’ll need to wake up. Owen and Vee decide they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make it work. But what if it takes being an errand-runner for a crime boss, a jewelry thief for an old woman, and a support system for a ditzy houseguest? Will they finally be able to maintain their truce. Or will it be easier to duck out and start fresh…alone?

Author

Elizabeth Hayley

Elizabeth Hayley is actually “Elizabeth” and “Hayley,” two friends who love reading romance novels to obsessive levels. This mutual love prompted them to put their English degrees to good use by penning their own. The product was Pieces of Perfect, their debut novel. They learned a ton about one another through the process, like how they clearly share a brain and have a persistent need to text each other constantly (much to their husbands’ chagrin). They live with their husbands and kids in a Philadelphia suburb. Thankfully, their children are still too young to read their books.
