In this episode, Arash and Dr. Bret Contreras discuss how you can train the glute, specifically with the barbell hip thrust. We talk about some simple tricks when first beginning glute training. Bret breaks out his rule of thirds used to maximize glute hypertrophy and build foundational strengths. One of the last points Bret discussed is: does a bigger muscle equal a stronger muscle?     Bret Contreras is an expert on glute training. Bret has his Ph.D. in Sports Science from AUT University, Master's Degree from Arizona State University, and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with Distinction from the National Strength & Conditioning  Association. Bret is the author of "Bodyweight Strength Training Anatomy," co-author of "Strong Curves" and Founder of "Booty by Bret."
