Description
In this episode, we interviewd Dr Beverly Yates, and discussed everything and anything you need to know about type-2 diabetes!
Here is a little bit about Dr yates:
She is a diabetes expert and author who has over 27 years experience of working with those who struggle with blood sugar issues related to type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, and feel like nothing works for them. By addressing the lifestyle factors that trigger blood sugar spikes, Dr. Yates creates breakthrough changes in the habits that cause blood sugar issues. This allows her clients to finally get off of the blood sugar rollercoaster, have more energy, and create the level of health that lets them live the life of their dreams.
She is the creator of the Yates Protocol, a simple and effective lifestyle-based program, for people who have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes, to lower blood sugar levels, achieve healthy A1C and fasting blood sugar levels, and have more energy to live life the way they want to.
She’s worked with 1,000s of people, helping them to lower their blood sugar levels to a healthy range and get control over their health.
She was chosen as the lead doctor for a new 3-doctor panel TV show on ABC. They filmed 2 versions of the pilot episode, and the network decided not to greenlight the series. Her journey in Hollywood was fun and taught her a lot of things.
When most of us in the health space think about type-2 diabetes, our minds go immediately to carbs, especially processed ones. But, is there more to the type-2 diabetes epidemic in our modern world?
You bet. And, that’s exactly what we dive into today. Check out the interview to learn more!
