As a social worker I always had an extra big passion for macro work. I have always dreamt of serving large amounts of people and giving back more than one at a time with my own organization. I didn’t know how what where or who I just knew that was my dream! It was what lit me up, got me excited and passionate! But I let these stories in my head and from other people get in my head and stop me from doing anything or even trying.
My dream started to become reality when I learned these 3 things within myself and I know they are true for you too.

I’m launching my first-ever workshop for medical social workers who want to increase their confidence in empowering patients when documenting their end of life wishes. Having POLST conversations with patients and families can be stressful, anxiety producing, and awkward.
We will discuss how to approach this conversation and the basics of the POLST form.
