Description

This week I speak with Dr. Angela Henderson about where we go from here as a society and as social workers.

She shares her story of how she got started in social work from High School to her work now on a macro level with social justice.

We talk about our next steps as a culture and profession to address the ongoing institutional racism and prejudice in America including our own self-evaluation, how we address the power imbalances within systems, and how we can create alliances with groups to have greater impact. She reveals the benefits to doing a personal “tune-up” every month and her personal process for this.
