Rick Sanchez welcomes Podcast host Mario Gongora and they discuss the differences between Halloween and the Latin American version of the holiday called “El Dia de Los Muertos.”  Sanchez and Gongora explain that while the American version of the holiday was spawned from a tradition that came over in the 1800s with the Irish immigrants of playing tricks or pranks on your neighbors on October 31st, the Latino version takes place on November 1st and 2nd, and it involves dressing up as skeletons and building altars to honor and pay respect to loved ones who have passed away.  Gongora then presents a special, exclusive Halloween episode of his spooky podcast, “Yes, This Happened” that you will only experience here on Rick Sanchez News.
