Description

In my mind there are three main reasons why we tap. The first is for emotional first aid. This is the tapping we do in the moment to help us when our emotions feel overwhelming. The second is for clearing hurtful memories and limiting beliefs. I group these together because they are often intertwined, with painful memories being a common root cause of limiting beliefs. By tapping to clearing these we can create space to make better choices day to day. The third is for building emotional resilience so that we are better able to cope and adapt when life doesn't go as planned. Being emotionally resilient doesn't mean our lives will be perfect, but instead means we are able to handle adversity or set backs so much better. This third reason for tapping is often overlooked because it is not about responding to something that is happening, but instead about developing a new way of responding to events and circumstances. In this week's podcast learn about the importance of emotional resilience and how to use tapping to cultivate it in yourself. Support the podcast!
