Every college football season brings new hype for fans, often times thanks to returning players who we know are almost certainly going to be stars in the Pac-12 Conference. Guys like Caleb Williams, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Cameron Rising, Noah Sewell, and others have shown they can be impact players for their respective teams. But what about the names who are not as well-known across the Pac-12 that could become household names very soon?
247Sports recently released its list of 22 players who could "pop" and become high-impact guys in College Football this year, and three Pac-12 players made the list. Washington Football may be rebuilding, but could 5th-year DE Zion Tupuoloa-Fetui become their biggest bright spot on defense? Gary Bryant Jr. could help fill the pass-catching void in a big way for USC Football and new head coach Lincoln Riley--with 5-star QB Caleb Williams throwing him the ball. Byron Cardwell Jr. has long been thought of as the #1 RB heading into 2022 for Oregon Football and Dan Lanning, but he might have more competition for carries than many realize behind (possibly) the best OL in the Pac-12.
Continuing our evaluations of Pac-12 players that are NFL-bound, today Spencer McLaughlin takes a look at the TE from UCLA, Greg Dulcich. A first-team all-conference performer in 2021, Dulcich has had to earn his way into the NFL Draft boards after initially walking on for the Bruins and HC Chip Kelly. He has the size and skills to become a starter in the NFL much like former Oregon TE Pharaoh Brown, but he has some limitations he will have to improve upon as well.
