In the 2022 recruiting cycle, Arizona State Football finds themselves with the lowest-ranked recruiting class in the Pac-12 Conference. Herm Edwards has made some coaching changes, but the Sun Devils need to get positive momentum to rebound on the recruiting trail or else things could continue to go south. Despite a weak 2022 class, 4-star RB Tevin White could help quickly fill a void in the backfield for the Sun Devils' offense.

With Greg Dulcich gone to the NFL, Class of 2022 4-star TE Jack Pedersen could be a playmaker in Chip Kelly's offense. He has the size and build to be, like Dulcich, a receiving-oriented tight end for the Bruins. Chip Kelly still knows how to score points in a big way which helps attract some recruits, but the allure of playing in his offense doesn't have the luster that it did when he burst onto the scenes at Oregon over 10 years ago.
Cal Bears' Head Coach Justin Wilcox has never struggled to put together some of the best defenses during his time in Berkeley. By adding Utah Football EDGE transfer Xavier Carlton, Coach Wilcox has added another capable player in the front seven who can be a player offenses have to watch out for. The offense hasn't kept pace with Wilcox's defenses, which makes recruiting the offensive side of the ball all the more important for the Cal Bears. 4-star RB Jadyn Ott is exactly the sort of player that they need to continue to bring in to have a well-rounded team that can compete.
