Oregon Football landed another surprise recruiting victory, as Dan Lanning (HC) and Kenny Dillingham (OC) were able to get a commitment from 4-star WR Kyler Kasper. He will be re-classifying to the Class of 2022, meaning he might see the field this fall for the Ducks. He has the physical gifts and skills to be a high-impact player for Dan Lanning, potentially early in his career.
The Gilbert, AZ native stayed on the west coast to play CFB which is good news for the Pac-12 Conference. The fact that he left his home state, however, slightly concerning for the Pac-12 schools down south. It's not quite as substantial for the Arizona Wildcats and Head Coach Jedd Fisch, but for the Arizona State Sun Devils and Herm Edwards it looms a bit larger--and not in a good way for a team that has the 103rd ranked recruiting class this cycle.
On the Men's Basketball front, 2 double-digit scorers from this past year have entered the transfer portal. Oregon State's Jarod Lucas and Colorado's Keeshawn Barthelemy will be leaving Corvallis and Boulder, respectively as they continue their college careers. What's the latest on the potential landing spots for each guard? Both could stay in the conference next year, but both could leave as well.
