As the Summer months officially begin, the countdown to the 2022 college football season is officially on. Looking ahead to week 1, there are some legitimate non-conference opportunities for teams to set a very positive tone for this year. Others don't have their biggest non-conference contests until week 2 or 3, but some have a tough game against a non-Pac 12 team right out of the gate.

Now amid an NCAA investigation, Edwards finds himself at the helm of a program that has seen a bevy of players transfer out of Tempe leading to an overall feeling of uneasiness amongst the Arizona State faithful.
