Description
With the NCAA's new "one time freebie" rule regarding the transfer portal, college football programs with a history of success are seemingly able to reboot after a down season faster than before. That's benefitting some programs like USC and Washington, but sometimes it comes at the expense of others like Colorado.
On today's episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin sheds light on why it is not ALL bad news for teams that lost over the weekend. Patience may be required for some fan bases, but those same schools will also need to see their teams make improvements in some areas to have successful campaigns this year.
With Arizona State poised to bottom out this year after dismissing Herm Edwards as their head coach, Stanford and Colorado appear poised to suffer a similar fate in 2022. If things don't change radically for the Buffaloes and Cardinal this year, both Karl Dorrell and David Shaw should be feeling the pressure of losing their jobs more and more as the season goes on.
