Description
Lincoln Riley will no doubt, especially with QB Caleb Williams for the next two seasons, score a lot of points in the Pac-12 conference and will likely win more games than USC has of late. The on-field impact on the conference figures to be significant, but his arrival and history as a recruiter indicates the Pac-12 recruiting landscape could look very different in a couple years than it did in this one and recent years past. For most teams, that might not be good news.
On today's episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by senior editor/writer at BeaverBlitz.com, Carter Bahns. He shares insight into Oregon State Football's recruiting pursuits in the 2022 class, and also who they're looking at in 2023. They also discuss and evaluate the new coach hires of Dan Lanning (Oregon) and Jake Dickert (Washington State) ahead of the upcoming football season.
They conclude discussing some of the biggest non-conference games that teams have going into this Fall. Utah's game against Florida in "The Swamp" could be an even bigger win than UCLA's defeat of #16 LSU last year at the Rose Bowl. Carter points to some of the biggest opportunities for the conference to stake its claim as a more respected power-5 league in the country coming up in 2022.
