The 2022 MLB Draft is in the books all three days and 20 rounds. The Guardians have added 21 new players all likely to sign and join their minor league development system which is the lifeblood of this baseball team. We re-rack the draft talking about what the class has looked like and the overall trends. Pitchers with high strikeout rates, low walk rates, and home run rates over one. Batters who have speed and excellent contact data. We talk about Dylan Delucia as well, one of the day two players we had not mentioned who was the most outstanding player of the College World Series. 

We go over the 10 picks of the day quickly, a group that was college dominated. There was just one prep player and one JUCO player the rest were from the college ranks including Tyresse Turner who might be my favorite day three pick. I think Logun Clark will be most fans' favorite day three pick as the prep catcher has good pop times and also pop in his bat.

We end by focusing on the three, day two players that we have yet to talk about. The pair of 17-year-old prep pitchers Jacob Zibin and Jordan Humpries stand out in terms of rankings and upside. We talk about why the Guardians made sure to save pool money for these two arms. We also talk about Austin Peterson who was one of the best pitchers all year in the NCAA. He ended up with the third most strikeouts while rarely walking anyone throughout the season.
