Even individuals who are normal weight can have metabolic abnormalities and similar risks for cardiovascular disease events." The author of the study further concludes: "The priority of health professionals regarding these patients should be to promote and facilitate weight loss, as it is with any other obese patient." ... https://academic.oup.com/eurheartj/article/39/5/397/4081012 "Irrespective of BMI, metabolically unhealthy individuals had higher CHD risk than their healthy counterparts. Conversely, irrespective of metabolic health, overweight and obese people had higher CHD risk than lean people.
