Today we're hearing from some local coaches on the west side of the state to get their perspective on what's happening in the World at the moment. In our second hour on this MHSAA Wednesday, East Kentwood High School Track & Field Head Coach Dave Emeott joined us over the phone. He called in to give us an update on what he, his family, and players have been doing during the pandemic. He also gave us some insight into what it’s like for him living with no sports, as well as when he thinks the safest time is to get back at it. Dave also told us what it was like for him breaking the news to his seniors that their season had ended. He also made a lot of great points about ‘sacrifice’ and why it’s so important for us to work together for the best possible outcome. Bill also threw out this question to our coaches today - What sport will be the first to come back?
