Description
Today we're hearing from some local coaches on the west side of the state to get their perspective on what's happening in the World at the moment. In our first hour on this MHSAA Wednesday, East Kentwood Boys Head Varsity Soccer Coach and Midwest United FC Coach John Conlon joined us over the phone to give us some insight into what it’s like for him living with no sports, as well as when he thinks the safest time is to get back at it.
In our second hour, Hudsonville Boys Head Basketball Coach Eric Elliot called in to give us an idea of what he, his family, and players have been doing. Eric also told us what it was like for him breaking the news to his seniors that their season had ended.
In our final hour today, East Kentwood High School Track & Field Head Coach Dave Emeott came on for some discussion on how this has affected him. Dave made a lot of great points about ‘sacrifice’ and why it’s so important for us to work together for the best possible outcome. Bill also threw out this question to our coaches today - What sport will be the first to come back? Lastly, we did some senior shout-outs and we wrapped up with Bill Hobson talking about the comments made by the Michigan Attorney General, Dana Nessel.
