En este episodio Sofía Bosch y Marysol Ortega conversan con Mariana Salgado, diseñadora argentina, investigadora y líder del laboratorio de diseño Inland ubicado en los Servicios de Inmigración finlandeses. También es productora y locutora del podcast Diseño y Diáspora, enfocado en el diseño social donde entrevista a diseñadores en español y portugués.

Dentro del contexto de diseño para el gobierno, Mariana nos habla de sus ideas acerca de los retos cuando se diseña en y para instituciones tanto de forma interna como externa, y de cómo de esta forma los diseñadores intentan y se encuentran empujando los límites de los requerimientos de diseño de parte de las instancias de gobierno y al mismo tiempo rompiendo barreras de la disciplina en sí.

In this episode Sofía Bosch and Marysol Ortega talk with Mariana Salgado, Argentinian designer, researcher and leader of Inland, a design laboratory located in the Finnish Immigration Services. She is also a producer and host of the podcast Diseño y Diáspora, focused on social design where she interviews designers in Spanish and Portuguese.

Within the context of design for government, Mariana talks about her ideas regarding the challenges when designing in and for institutions both internally and externally, and how in this way designers try and find themselves pushing the limits of design requirements from government bodies and at the same time breaking barriers of the discipline itself.
