En este episodio, Silvana Juri y Erica Dorn conversan con Marysol Ortega, investigadora doctoral e instructora de materias en estudios del diseño en la Escuela de Diseño de CMU. También es la creadora y conductora de este podcast. Durante la conversación, Marysol invita al oyente a reflexionar sobre formas de conocer y aprender que se han ocultado o incluso suprimido. Nos habla de cómo su investigación doctoral se centra en los aspectos intangibles de las relaciones intra e interpersonales y explora aspectos del diseño que actualmente en su mayoría son invisibles para las formas de diseño convencional. How do we materialize invisible knowledges and processes?
In this episode, Silvana Juri and Erica Dorn talk with Marysol Ortega, PhD Researcher and teaching fellow in CMU’s School of Design. She is also the creator and host of this podcast. During the conversation, Marysol invites the listener into reflections about ways of knowing and learning that have been hidden or even suppressed. She helps us sense into the ways in which her doctoral research focused on the intangible aspects of people’s intra and interpersonal relations, is pursuing the design of what is currently mostly invisible to mainstream modes of designing. This way she helps us understand the potential that lies in thinking through making, in an ongoing collective process.
