3-star quarterback Emory Williams from Milton High School in the Pensacola area has committed to Miami! He made it official on his social media on Monday evening. Williams was discovered late but has been ascending for the past few months. He had a great workout in front of Miami coaches a couple weekends ago and made a great impression on head coach Mario Cristobal, quarterback coach Frank Ponce, offensive coordinator Josh Gattis, and GM of football operations Alonzo Highsmith.
Host Alex Donno explains that the commitment of Emory Williams does not necessarily mean that Miami will not land either 4-star Jaden Rashada or 5-star Dante Moore. Rashada will be one of many high profile visitors this weekend. Miami will get Rashada's final official visit before he announces his commitment on June 26th. According to Gaby Urrutia of 247 sports, Miami will also receive official visits this coming weekend from 5-star ATH Nyckoles Harbor, 5-star CB Cormani McClain, 4-star ATH Collins Acheampong, 5-star safety Joenel Aguero, among others.
Donno also welcomes 3-star tight end Reid Mikeska to The U, who verbally commits just a week after another 3-star TE in Jackson Carver. Miami's future tight end room is taking shape in a big way. Is there still a chance to get a commitment from 4-star TE Riley Williams? Donno is not ruling it out.
