The Miami Hurricanes have landed a verbal commitment from 4-star edge rusher Rueben Bain from Miami Central! The South Florida standout picked the Canes over Florida State. Bain is one victory away from winning a high school state championship for the 4th time and has recorded over 100 tackles and 47.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons. Miami has an impressive incoming defensive line class with Bain, 4-star Jayden Wayne, 4-star Collins Acheampong, and 3-star Joshua Horton on their way to Miami. Plus, the Hurricanes are trending towards landing Texas A&M transfer edge rusher Tunmise Adeleye. 
Miami is in a good position to land a verbal commitment on Thursday from 5-star offensive tackle Samson Okunlola. “The Pancake Honcho” will be choosing between Miami, Florida, Alabama and Michigan State. The Hurricanes are believed to hold the edge, and host Alex Donno has just dropped a DonnoBall prediction for Okunlola to The U. Offensive tackle John Campbell is leaving Miami in the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. If Okunlola arrives, he and 5-star commit Francis Mauigoa could have chances to be in Miami’s offensive line rotation as true freshmen. 
Donno discusses the possibility of also landing Alabama transfer Javion Cohen in the portal. Cohen has been a standout at guard with the Crimson Tide but can also play tackle. He is making an official visit this weekend. Receiver Seven McGee, who wanted to be a Cane, has committed to Jackson State in the transfer portal.
