5-Star offensive tackle Samson Okunlola has verbally committed to the Miami Hurricanes. He picked Miami over Florida, Alabama and Michigan State. Mario Cristobal and offensive line coach Alex Mirabal recently made an in-home visit with Samson on Tuesday in Massachusetts. Okunlola was the top rated uncommitted player left on the board per Sports Illustrated. He and Miami commit Francis Mauigoa were the top two offensive tackles in the class. 
Host Alex Donno recaps Okunlola’s recruitment while enjoying a full stack of pancakes for “The Pancake Honcho.” Donno describes how Florida felt good until Tuesday, while Michigan State tried to make a late push. Miami now has a great foundation of O-Line recruiting with Okunlola, Mauigoa, Antonio Tripp, Tommy Kinsler and Frankie Tinilau anchoring the class. Miami is also trending for Alabama transfer OL Javion Cohen. The Hurricanes now have the 3rd rated class of 2023 per 247 Sports’ composite rankings, behind only Alabama and Georgia.
