The Miami Hurricanes have become a destination for offensive linemen since the arrival of head coach Mario Cristobal and OL coach Alex Mirabal. The Canes had one of the top units in 2023 and will hope for the same in 2024. The Hurricanes return three starters with left tackle Jalen Rivers, right guard Anez Cooper and right tackle Francis Mauigoa holding it down. They’ve added starting center Zach Carpenter from Indiana and will hold a competition for the left guard spot. Miami has a deep running back rotation for 2024 including Mark Fletcher, Henry Parris, Ajay Allen, TreVonte’ Citizen, Chris Johnson, Jordan Lyle and Chris Wheatley-Humphrey.

Soldinger, a UM Sports hall of famer, explained why is so high on true freshman running back Jordan Lyle.
