The Miami Hurricanes rocked the college football world YET AGAIN by landing a verbal commitment from top 2023 offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa. Mauigoa chose Miami on July 4th, snubbing Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, USC and Hawaii in the process. Will Miami see similar recruiting momentum from Mauigoa like they did after landing 4-star QB Jaden Rashada 8 days prior?
Host Alex Donno discusses other 5-star recruits who could choose the University of Miami in the coming months. Edge rusher Jayden Wayne will announce his commitment on July 9th. He has been trending towards Miami in recent weeks. The Canes are also considered favorites for 5-star receiver Jalen Brown from Miami Gulliver Prep. Brown does not have an announcement date set just yet. The Hurricanes are also in the mix for 5-star OT Samson Okunloa, 5-star ATH Nyckoles Harbor, 5-star safety Joenel Aguero and top cornerback Cormani McClain.
