Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes have won recruiting battles head to head against Alabama for the likes of Raul Aguirre, Francis Mauigoa, Jayden Wayne and Riley Williams already in this recruiting cycle. Will the success continue? While there is no debating the legacy of Nick Saban over Mario Cristobal, Miami has done an excellent job beating Saban for some of his top targets in the class of 2023. A big one to watch out for will be top cornerback Cormani McClain out of Lakeland, FL. Reports say it will be a tug-of-war between the Hurricanes and Crimson Tide for his signature.
