The Miami Hurricanes have been home to some of the best tight ends in college football and NFL history like Bubba Franks, Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen and Jimmy Graham. The Canes' current trio of Will Mallory, Elijah Arroyo and true freshman Jaleel Skinner are as good as any in the country. Plus, Miami is making seriously headway in the recruitment of 3-star TE Reid Mikeska from the State of Texas. He had a great official visit with the Hurricanes over the weekend.
Canes football insider Brad Tejeda from Canes Insight joins host Alex Donno to break down the present and future of the TE position at The U. Brad believes Jaleel Skinner will be the one everyone is talking about by the end of the 2022 season. Brad helps Donno break down some of the other official visits that happened over the weekend including 5-star DE David Hicks and 3-star QB Emory Williams. Miami seems to be trending upwards for Hicks but Texas A&M and Texas appear to be the favorites for the Lone Star State native. Do the Hurricanes have a shot? Brad also believes Miami are back in play for 5-star QB Dante Moore, the top ranked quarterback in the class of 2023.
The guys also discuss which of Miami's tough road games they are more likely to win in 2022: at Texas A&M or at Clemson. They have some fun with the viral photo's of the gross looking plate of food that football recruits were served at the University of Florida over the weekend.
