5-Star class of 2023 quarterback Jaden Rashada has named his 7 finalists and the Miami Hurricanes appear on that list along with LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Cal, Texas A&M and Oregon. If he does choose Miami, he would join a crowded quarterback room in 2023 which would also include former 4-star recruit Jake Garcia and 3-star Jacurri Brown. Tyler Van Dyke will likely be moving on to the NFL that season unless he regresses unexpectedly in 2022. Rashada is the 5th ranked pro style QB and the 29th overall prospect in his class.
Host Alex Donno recalls the nice things Rashada had to say about Miami after his spring visit, and what he would add to the Hurricanes IF he arrives. Can Mario Cristobal pull this off? Donno discusses what some of the top recruiting analysts told him about where they expect Rashada to go, and they all agree, for the moment, that Oregon is the favorite. However, with a month until his decision there is plenty of time to change his mind.
Donno also runs through Miami's 2022 football schedule and asks if you can only attend one game next season, home or away, which one would you choose? Donno would LOVE to make that trip to College Station when Miami face Texas A&M on September 17th. Most of the audience agree, but a few surprise answers make the list.
