4-star athlete Robert Stafford has chosen the Miami Hurricanes! He will play cornerback at The U. Stafford was a 3-sport athlete in Melbourne, FL playing football, basketball and running track at his high school. He recently moved from wide receiver to corner, and has excellent track speed and an impressive vertical leap that really makes him stand out.
Host Alex Donno breaks down the commitment of Stafford and discusses how his arrival puts Miami into the top 20 for the class of 2023. Prior to the commitments of 4-star QB Jaden Rashada, 4-star WR Nathaniel Joseph and now Stafford, Miami's class was ranked 44th. Momentum is real! Donno also recapped the performances of Miami commits Rashada and Emory Williams at the Elite 11 quarterback competition. Both performed well and Williams, the lesser rated of the two, got very encouraging reviews.
Now that the BIG 10 is poised to become a super conference along with the SEC by adding USC and UCLA, Donno discusses whether the ACC will be able to compete with them in the long run or if programs like Miami, Clemson and Florida State need to bolt to greener pastures.
