Description
Mario Cristobal is the 9th highest paid coach in College Football and with the way Miami is investing in their athletic department these days, he will have plenty of pressure. But how much pressure will be on the new Hurricanes head coach in his first season? He was handed a 7-5 team with talent but limitations. Can Canes football fans expect an instant turnaround or do they need to trust the process?
Host Alex Donno lays down his expectations for a 3-year plan to make Miami one of the elite teams in the nation. It starts with improving the record and winning the coastal division and then by 2024 the expectation should be college football playoffs. Donno reads tweets and youtube comments from some of the most reasonable and unreasonable Hurricanes supporters.
The ACC will likely realign and do away with their two divisions soon. Rather than a Coastal and Atlantic division, you would have 5 rotating conference opponents and 3 fixed opponents on the schedule. Donno is surprised that most of the listeners want Georgia Tech to be among the fixed foes, but there is some solid logic behind the idea. Meanwhile, reports from 247 Sports say Clemson could be among Miami's fixed opponents along with FSU and Virginia Tech.
