Description

On this episode co-host Audrey interviews Kathrin Bussmann. She is the Head of Verbaccino Inc., an independent marketing consultancy that helps Cleantech companies go global. Working at the intersection of global business, international marketing, and localization, Kathrin's focus is on developing digital content strategies that drive international expansion, and on facilitating their implementation by qualified practitioners. As German-Canadian dual citizen born in the province of Québec, Kathrin grew up equally fluent in German, French, and English. She obtained degrees in Communication Studies and Linguistics, and launched her own consultancy in 2014. Now, as a parent, she is increasingly concerned about the future of our planet. She believes that the climate crisis requires globally scalable solutions, and that green technologies need to be promoted and implemented successfully across languages, cultures and borders. That's why, in 2021, she re-positioned her consultancy to serve the Cleantech sector. In addition to her consulting practice, Kathrin produces & hosts The Worldly Marketer Podcast, an award-winning show that explores what it takes to grow a global brand in today’s digital, social, multilingual marketplace. To date, she has interviewed over 220 thought leaders in the areas of global business, global marketing and localization.Kathrin is a proud member of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), of The Global Chamber, and of Women and Cleantech and Sustainability, and she is a co-founder of Women in Localization Eastern Canada (WLEC).
