So listen here to find out why getting coaching is basically a shortcut to success. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? This is Russell Brunson, welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. I hope you guys are excited because I got something really fun to share with you guys today. So I just dropped my daughter off. Actually, I was going to drop her off, then I got so excited that I sat there for the last hour, for her very first one on one soccer practice. It’s funny, she’s been playing soccer now for, I think 7 or 8 seasons, she’s getting really, really good, she’s loving it, all the things. And she’s getting good with her team, growing. And it’s funny because it’s seems, I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but sometimes we’re really good at one part of our life, but then we forget about other parts. So for me in business, obviously, I’m very coachable and I look for coaches. I’m like, ‘I need a coach for this, and a coach for this.” And I try to get coaches for all the things. Every time I have a gap in what my skill set is, I hire a coach, and the coach helps me get through that thing, and it’s awesome, and then I solve the problem, and then we keep on moving forward. And we had something similar when I was wrestling, it was the same thing. My dad would always find coaches. At first I would go to practice and my coach would coach me, and I got to a certain level, but then my dad’s like, ‘Ugh, you’re not progressing fast enough, let me get another coach.” So my dad became the coach and he’d come after practice and wrestle with me more, and I got even better and started growing faster than everybody else around me. Then my dad starts seeking out other coaches and he finds, who are the high school that their teams are winning? And my dad would drive me to those high schools and have those coaches coach me. We’d find out who are the freestyle and Greco clubs where the kids are winning, and we’d drive and find those coaches and have them coach me. I got coaching from so many amazing coaches growing up to make me an amazing wrestler, and because I think of that lesson, I’ve done the same thing in business, getting tons of coaches. And I kind of forgot about that for my kids. I’ve failed. So I’ve had them in coaching and I’m watching and every season they get better and better. It wasn’t until a couple of weeks ago when I was talking to one of my friends and he told me there was this local soccer coach who lives here and he’s one of the best players in the world, and I guess he moved here from Brazil and he does one on ones with the soccer player. And I was like, oh my gosh, I need, what was I thinking? Why haven’t I done that yet? So I called him up and hired him and they had their very first one on one practice today, and I watched, for the last hour, I watched her doing all these drills and these amazing things. And I was like, oh my gosh, if I do this once a week or twice a week with her, three times a week, she will get, in the next twelve months she will have basically done four or five soccer seasons. But even probably more than that because she’s getting this personalized one on one attention with her skill sets and her drills and all these kind of things like. It’s like in a year she could grow what takes most people
