Chapter 1.

    On occasion people prominent in the world of crime sometimes become household names.  They are in the news so frequently and their criminal activities covered by television shows that delve into that subject matter that they can become famous or even infamous.  Ted Bundy fit that profile.  He was so well known in the states he operated in that his name recognition was parallel to that of the state Governors.  His criminal career could describe him as a ‘’master predator’ and the most well-known serial killer in U.S history. If fact he was the geneses for the term ‘’serial killer.’  A terminology that defines someone who kills over and over again. This cliché was not coined until after Ted Bundy was caught and his criminal career explored.

      Where did it all begin for Mr. Bundy?  He was born in 1946, in Burlington, Vermont, to an absent father. He was born out of wedlock at a home for unwed mothers. He had several brothers and sisters. He originally thought his grandparents were his real parents and his Mother was his older sister.  When he discovered the truth it impacted him greatly so.   His mother eventually moved the family to Tacoma, Washington.
